How to Read Crypto On-Chain Data Like a Whale
## On-Chain Reading 101 Most traders stare at price charts. Smart money stares at on-chain. Here is the workflow we use at Best Fx Signal. ### Three metrics that matter most 1. **Exchange Net Position Change** — Coins flowing OUT of exchanges = bullish accumulation. Coins flowing IN = potential distribution. 2. **Long-Term Holder Supply** — When LTHs are accumulating into weakness, every cycle bottom has been near. 3. **Funding Rates** — Sustained negative funding = shorts crowded, contrarian long setup. ### The signal stack we run - Glassnode for HODLer behavior - CryptoQuant for exchange flows - Nansen for smart-money wallet labels - Velo Data for funding/basis/OI ### Putting it together We only take long setups when: - LTH supply is rising - Exchange balances are falling - Funding is neutral or negative - Price is in the 21W EMA volume profile This four-condition filter has produced our best risk-adjusted returns since 2022.
